Can I bind materials that are written or drawn by hand?

Yes. They should be created or mounted on 8.5 x 11-inch paper with 1-inch margins on all sides.

Can I print pages using a computer and desktop printer?

Yes. Classroom Publishing Kits allow you to use graphics and page layout programs to design and print one or multiple copies of your book. Use Word, Publisher, InDesign or any other software for creating 8.5 x 11 pages.

For what ages are books designed?

Kids of all ages will enjoy the finished product. Kids 11 and older can make classroompublishing.com kits.

How long does it take to make a book?

After demonstrating the steps to students, and with materials and stapler at hand:

  • 5-10 minutes to make the cover
  • 5-10 minutes to bind the pages
  • 5-10 minutes to combine pages and cover assembly

How many sheets will fit in each of my books?

Kits work best with 10-30 sheets. You can use any weight paper.

What sizes of books come in?

One: for portrait pages that are 8.5 x 11. (landscape orientation is coming, as well as 5.5 x 8.5 portrait and landscape).

What types of glue work best with kits?

You don't need any glue. Kits are self-adhesive and Totally GluelessTM.
